Maniwaki Airport

The region of the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau is served by an airport with a runway of 1524 meters length and 45 meters in width.

In addition to hosting the regional administrative center of the Société de protection des forêts contre le feu (SOPFEU), this infrastructure also facilitates the movement of travelers and business people wishing to travel throughout our territory.

The airport is a key lever for the development of the region. This important attribute for the Gatineau Valley territory, has focused on aero-tourism, to diversify its development.

Since 1997, the airport is administrated by the Régie intermunicipale de l’aéroport de Maniwaki. The airport operating costs are borne by all of the municipalities of MRC.
